Coinciding with the 25th anniversary of the APEVC, in the Building of the Sucre of Vic, the 21st Congress of the Associació de Professionals dels Espais Verds de Catalunya (APEVC) was celebrated and took place from the 14th to the 16th of November.
In the two days of the congress, recognized experts shared their experiences with about 220 people who attended the event and discussed the necessary objectives that must be taken into account to face the social and environmental challenges that the present and the future of the management of the green spaces entails.
The presentation by Josep M. Mompín, head of the Urban Landscape and Environment Service of the Mollet del Vallès Town Council, discussed the evolution of green management in the last 25 years, referring to the BMAPS development for computerized and efficient management of the urban green.
The congress offered us the opportunity to present the BMAPS tool to administrations, technicians and companies, as a solution for the management of road trees, BGEO was represented by Josep Lluís Sala Sanguino, Managing Partner, and Cláudia Rodrigues, cohead of the Communication area.
